The people at CCA are passionate investors. We share a high level of curiosity, an enjoyment of continuous learning, and a commitment to routinely re-evaluating our biases and assumptions.

Alex Nieberding

Alex started his career at a major US bank extending credit to private equity firms to finance leveraged buyouts. After earning an MBA, he joined CVC Capital Partners in London and Frankfurt.  He spent 16 years executing buyouts, consolidating industries and pursuing add-on acquisitions. He served on the boards of billion euro enterprises and actively participated in major strategic and financial decisions. He later joined a younger diversified investment firm to build their private equity practice. In 2017, he co-founded Conduction Capital with his partner Felix.

Alex studied German and Economics at Northwestern University and business administration at The Tuck School at Dartmouth College. When he’s not reading annual reports, he enjoys playing jazz piano and writing film scripts.

Felix Eisel

Felix started his career in New York at a large event-driven long/short hedge fund. He invested across the capital structure in equity and credit. He primarily spent his time within the TMT sector and covered European large and mid-caps. Following that, he joined a newly found Frankfurt-based private equity and credit firm as one of the first employees. In this role, he travelled across German-speaking Europe and visited countless factories and production sites to get to know the companies and their management teams first-hand. In 2017, he co-founded Conduction Capital with his partner Alex.

Felix studied business administration and finance at the University of Mannheim and McGill University in Montreal. He spends his spare time with athletic activities at an intensity level that’s neither fun for him nor anyone else. So we recommend avoiding running, biking or playing basketball with him.
